Debate Club

Debate Club has been working in Turkestan Multidisciplinary, Higher Agrarian College since 2015. The members of the Debate Club are students of all courses. An annual plan is developed and implemented. The club has 33 members. Our responsible teachers are N. Naimanbayeva and A. Kudyarov.
According to the plan for the 2020-2021 academic year, the debate was held in February this year.
Theme of the debate: The future of the country – the hour of youth thinking – sharing
The goal:
– To lead to the study of certain facts, to predict, to speak systematically, to prove one’s point of view openly and systematically, and to present one’s direction correctly;
– To help dissenters to think about the issues raised;
– Formation of language skills of language learners;
– Training to express their views;
– Formation of the student’s attitude and interest in society;
– To reflect on the topic «The future of a country with active youth is bright»;
– Attention to youth issues in the country;
The course of the transition (speech of K. Murzalina):
The country pays a lot of attention to youth issues. In all his Addresses to the Nation, President Nursultan Nazarbayev also focused on youth issues in this year’s program «Social Modernization of Kazakhstan», «20 Steps to a Society of Universal Labor» and an interactive lecture at Nazarbayev University. Youth is the main force in the country’s development. The youth issue is not just an issue, it is the future of the country. It is not right for young people to look at the state with open arms. The state provides assistance only to the disabled, who are unable to work for the elderly who have retired after working. And strong young people, whose twelve members are able to think and work, must find their way to their work, raise their children and work for the prosperity of the country. Young people should not ask themselves what the state gives us, but what I can do for my country and my people. Then we will prosper.
Today, young people, as the driving force of society, armed with innovative ideas, make a worthy contribution to the development and prosperity of the country. After all, they have grandparents and brothers who can serve as role models. They were also zealous young people who led the way to independence. We must always be proud to say that they are the brave sons and daughters of our people, who were the first to break the shackles of totalitarianism. December 1986 clearly showed that the Kazakh youth was moving towards freedom. Our young people, who were able to stand up to death and set an example when the sword of the Soviet Union was bleeding, have written their names in golden letters in history. Kairat and Lyazzat said, «We can be killed, but we will not be insulted,» and they did not trample on their honor until the last drop of blood. Today’s young people, following in the footsteps of those «Decemberists», are waving the blue flag of the sovereign country, singing «My Kazakhstan» and stepping into the future.
